Second life imprisonment for alleged Lao drug kingpin Xaysana Keopimpa
Alleged Laotian drug baron Xaysana Keopimpa who has a penchant for sports cars and links with some of Bangkok’s celebrities was today sentenced to life imprisonment by the Criminal Court after he was found guilty of smuggling more than three million meth pills from Laos into Thailand to be delivered to Malaysia through his drug network in southern Thailand.

China’s Foreign Ministry said leaders would be coming from the Czech Republic, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Kenya, Lithuania, Panama, El Salvador, Switzerland, the Cook Islands, Croatia, Egypt, Hungary, Georgia, Laos, Malta, Pakistan, Russia and Vietnam.

Rangers bust smuggling of bogus goods across Mekong River in Mukdaharn
The rangers unit discovered a long-tail boat sailing from the Lao side of the international river before docking at Anurakbamrung Community on the Thai side. A group of 5-10 men were found transporting bags out of the boat, prompting the officials to make arrests.
