The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is teaming up with regional management consulting firm SRW&Co., to host its first Asean Global Leadership Programme (AGLP).
To take place at its central London, England campus between March 25 and 29 next year, the programme will see private and public sector CEOs and business entrepreneurs from across Asean gather to reflect, discuss and debate matters of leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation, against a backdrop of Asean-specific needs and challenges.
Established in 2009 the AGLP has grown to become a signature leadership development programme in the Asean region with a distinguished alumni comprising some of the regions most talented and successful managers, CEOs, and entrepreneurs.
Adam Austerfield, director of global markets in LSE custom programmes, said the knowledge and experience of the LSE faculty, the high-calibre guest speakers and senior expert practitioners, as well as the quality of the programme participants themself ensures that the AGLP at LSE will be a high-impact platform for contemporary leaders to learn about, analyse, and discuss best international practices in leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation.
Claiming that the 19th AGLP will be the most poignant yet, Daniel Wong, chairman and partner of SRW&Co., said “each year we work with our partners both in the lead-up to and after an AGLP.
“We carefully dissect and analyse the different sessions and study responses to ensure that the programme remains at the forefront of leadership development in Asean.
“This analyse, in close collaboration with our global business school partners, has helped ensure the AGLPÂ continuously raise the bar in content and delivery.”
In addition to an intensive and challenging theoretical curriculum, the five-day leadership programme also includes external visits and extracurricular events to enable participants to gain maximum benefits from their time in London.
Business executives in both the public and the private sectors across industries are encouraged to register and can download the programme brochure from SRW&Co.
Established in 1895 the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) has become one of the foremost social science universities in the world with 23 academic departments and 22 world leading research centres.
