00:43 | Deputy prime minister and Minister of Defence, General Prawit Wongsuwon has thanked government agencies and Thais across the country for contributing to the success of the royal funeral ceremony. More than three million people took part in sandalwood floor laying ceremonies Bangkok, while more than 16 million participated in regional ceremonies.

02:10 | The public will be permitted to visit the royal crematorium between November 2-30 between 7am and 10pm. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will preside over the opening of the royal crematorium to the public on November 2.

03:22 | Thailand Post Co., Ltd., has opened an exhibition titled ‘Stamps of Fatherly King 2493’ showcasing postal stamps containing images of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the General Post Office in Bang Rak district of Bangkok. The exhibition is open from 9 am to 7 pm daily, excepts Monday’s.

10:45 | Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has visited flood victims in Angthong Province. Some 1,053 households in Pa Mok district and 2,515 households in Wiset Chai Chan district remain flooded. In response the government has devised a water management plan to help and suggested they seek alternate jobs such as fishing during the flood.

11:50 | The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) has not yet decided if it will lift a ban on political activities. Deputy prime minister General Prawit Wongsuwon dismissed reports that the government is now planning a Cabinet reshuffle ahead of  lifting a ban on political activities, particularly in the national security area.

Meanwhile, the draft law on anti-corruption is expected to be submit to the legislature on November 2, while the draft laws on the election of the Senate and the election of Members of Parliament are expected to be ready on November 21 and 28.

13:15 | The Ministry Finance has forecast increased GDP growth for this year and 2018 due to the strong export sector, public investment, and increased private consumption, predicting the economy to grow by 3.8 per cent this year. In September, VAT revenue rose by 2 per cent, while inbound tourism numbers  increased 5.7 per cent.

14:43 | King Mongkut’s International Demonstration School (KMIDS) has introduced the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) curriculum along with the robot, aiming to make more fun for student in learning process. Newsline take look at the detail of the STEM and robotic teaching program.
