01:00 | King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun has instructed the government to allocate additional viewing areas for those attending the royal funeral ceremony later this week. Meanwhile, government spokesperson, Lieutenant General Sansern Kaewkumnerd, said that the government is pleased with the recent full-dress rehearsals of the royal funeral processions.

05:22 | Deputy commissioner-general of the Royal Thai Police, Police General Weerachai Songmetta, and acting inspector general, Police General Suchart Teerasawat, have told a media conference that the latest reports show no potential security threats to the royal funeral ceremony. None the less the RTP and related agencies were prepared for any contingency. A Peace and Order Command Center has also been established.
