00:40 | The number of visitors to the royal crematorium site remains strong with more than 50,000 people thought to have visited the area each day over the weekend.
02:05 | The government is considering extending the public opening of the royal crematorium site beyond its scheduled November 30 shutdown to enable more people to learn about Thailand’s traditions and culture.
03:29 | Deputy prime minister Dr Wissanu Krea-ngam has confirmed the government’s intention to follow the national reform roadmap. The national reform strategic plans will be completed by December this year. He said that the drafting teams will solicit input from people throughout the country to make sure that every voice is heard before the plans are finalised.
Dr Wissanu also said that political parties shouldn’t worry about the political movement ban as they will be given enough time to carry out their election campaigns and other activities.
04:42 | Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has instructed all provinces to ensure that flood-affected people receive assistance from the government urgently after the floods subside. Meanwhile government agencies in flood-affected province continue delivering relief supplies to flood-affected residents.
07:00 | Thailand’s southern region has been warned of more rain and strong winds, particularly in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. According to the weather forecasting service, Chumphon and Surat Thani could be hit with even heavier rain between November 6 and 8.
10:21 | The Public Relations Department (PRD) has held a seminar for representatives of the Community Radio Network (CRN) from seven provinces in the lower southern region of Thailand to familiarise them with the national reform process and other government policies. The PRD is to work with 800 radio broadcasters across the country to help them adjust to technological advancement.
11:38 | Air Chief Marshal Sathitpong Sukwimol, private secretary to King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, presided over a ‘We Do Good Deeds With Our Hearts’ activity on Sunday where volunteers and government workers dredged canals at Mahanak and Prem Prachakon.

14:21 | In preparation of promoting heritage tourism in Bangkok the Department of Internal Trade (DIT) has selected Khlong Bang Luang as a ‘must-visit market’ in Bangkok because of its cultural and historical roots.
15:22 | The Department of Mental Health (DoMH) has organised an event to raise public awareness of depression and the various resources available to those afflicted. According to Dr Boonruang Triruangworawat, director-general of the DoMH, some 1.5 million Thai people living in Thailand have a major depressive disorder (MDD), but only half of them seek treatment.
16:45 | Delegates attending the Asean Meeting of Aesthetic Surgery and Medicine 2017 (AMAS2017) in Bangkok have been told that the Thai Association and Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine (TACS) believes Thailand is number one in Asean for skilled personnel and equipment to bolster the plastic surgery industry, while South Korea is the best in the world for plastic surgery procedures.
