01:40 | Ministers rumored to be set for removal in the new Cabinet have voiced no concerns and affirmed their respect for the Prime Minister’s decision. Prime Minister, General Prayut Chan-o-cha, reportedly told all ministers during the weekly Cabinet meeting that the coming reshuffle is nothing personal, but is needed to enhance the efficiency of the government.
03:04 | The Cabinet has approved the second phase of an affordable home rental scheme for low-wage earners with a budget of more than Bt248 million (about $US7.57 million). Some Bt197 million ($6 million) will come from state coffers while the balance will be borrowed from domestic financial institutions. The project comprises 494 units, 196 in Samut Sakon Province, 102 in Chiang Mai and 196 in Nakhon Sawan.

16:31 | The Governor of the Rubber Authority of Thailand (Rat), Thithat Suksa-at, has signed an agreement with representatives of the Hainan Rubber Industrial Group to purchase Thai rubber. The first 10,000 tons of Thai rubber will be shipped to Hainan next month. Mr Suksa-at said Chinese rubber buyers want theRat to help them purchase more than 200,000 tons of Thai rubber each year.

This year, more than 300 youths from Asean countries and Japan gathered together on the Nippon Naru Ship to exchange culture and knowledge that will deeper friendship and mutual understanding. Participants spend more than 40 days on the ship and this year will visit Japan, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
